January 30, 2020. The delegation from Cuba headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Ukraine Ms. Natacha Díaz Aguilera visited the Institute and had a meeting with administration.
The delegation included:
- the Head of the company BioCubaFarma Office in the CIS, Dr. Pharmacy Ms. Idania Caballero Torres
- the representative of the company BioCubaFarma, Master of Business Administration Mr. Adolfo Castillo Vitlloch
- the representative of the company Servicios Medicos Cubanos, specialist in general medicine Ms. Natalia Hijuelos Alekseeva
From the Institute in the negotiations participated:

- Deputy Director for Science, Dr.Sci.(Biol.) Liubov H. Buchynska
- Director’s Advisor on Medical Affairs, Corresponding Member of NAMS of Ukraine Yurii V. Dumanskyi
- Head of the Laboratory of Oncoimmunology and Antitumor Vaccines Engineering, PhD Gennadii V. Didenko
During the meeting, the Cuban specialists were acquainted with the Institute’s innovative research and the Biotechnology Center activities. The guests presented brief information on main missions the BioCubaFarma and Servicios Medicos Cubanos companies.
The items of bilateral cooperation on the foundation of the International Ukrainian-Cuban Oncology Innovation Center on the basis of the IEPOR were thoroughly discussed.
